Special TFR:
Re running, and personal experience, part of it is just "getting the miles on your legs". I personally try to get my breathing in pace with my running (usually 2 breaths/2 paces). The couch to 5k training program is helpful with setting up intervals to get your running/breathing more regulated, but the main thing is just going to be running until it's better.
ReplyDeleteI've run 5k a couple of times now with training runs being a few runs of 1-3 miles a few times per week. My next goal is to start moving up toward training 2-4 miles 2-4x per week with swimming and walking 2-3 times a week. That will make the 5k runs a lot easier. Plus, I'm now working my way up to a half marathon in November.
